It’s a river house with a color palette of blues and creams. The bathrooms are a mixture of large ones with clawfoot tubs and quirky ones that are reminiscent of boarding house days. But all are private and new. The gathering places are many for such an intimate 8 room hotel. The porches, the river room, the potbelly stove room or the firepit in the back yard. You can easily find a corner to call your own to finish the book you’ve been working on.
River Road is the perfect road to bicycle down and enjoy the river views! We have house bikes available free of charge for use for our guests - go out, explore, enjoy!
All rooms include complimentary breakfast for two, free WiFi, guest living spaces and wood stove, Delaware River access. We will also offer picnic lunches you can enjoy on the grounds!
Like all of our properties, we are dog friendly! We do charge a $50 nightly fee to help cover the costs of cleaning. Up to two dogs per room. But rest assured that for this, we also provide a dog bed for your pup, food bowls and treats! We also ask that pups joining the trip are quiet and comfortable while unaccompanied in your room, so as not to disturb guests. Please let us know at the time of booking if you plan to bring your furry friend along.
Ground Floor King
Ground Floor King with Gas Fireplace. Located just off of our common rooms on the first floor, it has a king bed, a seating area in front of the private gas fireplace and an en suite Water Closet and Shower. Duvet comforters, nap timers, bathrobes, white linens and Malin & Goetz toiletries round out the experience.
Ground Floor Queen
Our most petite room, our ground floor queen room is located just off of our common areas on the first floor. It has a queen bed, a comfortable reading chair and en suite bathroom with a shower. (Quirk: the sink is located in the room, not in the bathroom). Duvet comforters, nap timers, bathrobes, white linens and Malin & Goetz toiletries round out the experience.
Second Floor Queen
Our second floor queen room has a comfortable reading chair and a large en suite bathroom with a rain head shower. Duvet comforters, nap timers, bathrobes, white linens and Malin & Goetz toiletries round out the experience.
Second Floor King
There are three king rooms on our second floor. All are spacious with suite style seating area and special bathrooms. Some have clawfoot bathtubs while others embrace the quirks of an old building and are configured with separate ensuite water closets and showers. Duvet comforters, nap timers, bathrobes, white linens and Malin & Goetz toiletries round out the experience.
Third Floor Suite
One of our largest rooms on property, our third floor suite offers a separate sitting area as well as a bedroom with a king size bed and a large en suite bathroom. Duvet comforters, nap timers, bathrobes, white linens and Malin & Goetz toiletries round out the experience.
Third Floor Loft
Our largest room on property, this room offers a spacious open floor plan that includes a large suite style sitting area and a king size bed. The private en suite bathroom includes a clawfoot bathtub with views of the Delaware River as well as a large shower. This room faces our expansive lawn and the Delaware River. Duvet comforters, nap timers, bathrobes, white linens and Malin & Goetz toiletries round out the experience.
Booking & Cancellation policy - A full refund is available if the reservation is cancelled two weeks prior to arrival. Cancellations made within two weeks of arrival will result in a cancellation fee in the amount of the full deposit. Cancellations made within 48 hours of arrival will result in a full charge for the entire length of stay. Policies can vary for specials, packages and prepaid reservations. Please review the booking description of your reservation and contact our team with any questions. A daily $10 facility fee is included in your total tax.
